Inside the Clinic - Meet The Care Team

Your care at Parkridge is provided by women who are professional, kind and excellent in their roles. Here’s who they are and what they do.
YOUR NURSE -
Your nurse is on your care team to provide medical services including: pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, testing & treatment for STDs/STIs. All Registered Nurses are licensed in TX and receive specialized training to provide excellent medical care at Parkridge. Our nurses also provide evidence-based education on pregnancy, abortion and sexual health.
YOUR ADVOCATE -
Your advocate is on your care team to provide compassionate support, accurate information, education and resources. She is a listening ear; someone you can talk to about whatever you decide to share. Her role is to care for you – she is on your team. Her goal is to listen without judgement and to ask relevant questions to help you make a clear next step.
YOUR COUNSELOR -
A counselor may be on your care team to provide mental and emotional support. Not every medical patient sees a therapist, yet it’s available. We have counselors on-site for quick mental health checks, crisis-intervention and ongoing therapy. Sometimes an extra level of emotional care and support is needed. Our counselors are licensed professionals, who specialize in situations like unexpected pregnancy, abortion decisions, relationship struggles, pregnancy loss, and more.
All three of these women are here for you. They work together to best care for you and to serve you in the way you need it. It takes good teamwork to provide services with excellence, and we all want to be a part of your team!
